A Futuristic Journey on the Great Wheel

For the last six months or so, I've been collecting a few of the old TSR Planescape books and am happy to have The Factol's Manifesto, Campaign Guide, and In the Cage on my shelf. I've been pondering creating a campaign that is framed around the following 6 Truths 1 using Break! 2 rpg flavored with some of Scrap Princess' NooFutura 3:

This is what I have so far but it's not done.

Six Truths of Sigil and the Wheel

(3 right now because it's not done)

The following knowledge is common among the characters and the people of Sigil.

  1. The City of Sigil sits at the hub of the Planes, a place of tense neutrality ruled over by the Lady of Pain. It is a decaying technological metropolis of many doors, where devils and Doomguard mingle in the street, proseltyzing their chosen philosophy about the world, jockeying for position to gain smidgens of power. Sigil is perpetually alive and under siege but holds fast under the Lady's protection. But is her protection waning?

  2. Interplanar Travel on the Great Wheel is commonly done via protective magitech mechs, with planar keys earned through trials, favors, or discovery.

  3. Factional protection is not free, and things will be demanded of you. Factions rule Sigil in all but name, and whatever Faction you have chosen will at times demand your obedience and command you to actions you may disagree with. What you choose could make you friends or enemies.

(I haven't written 4-6 yet but I assume they will be state of the city type stuff in terms of factional war, maybe more on the futuristic stuff).

Your Character in the Great Wheel

Your characters are native to the prime material plane and the campaign will begin there before going to Sigil in media res on a mission.

(I'm planning for this mission to be You've Got a Job on the Garbage Barge 4 or Ultraviolet Grasslands5).

Your group are auditioning to become the lowest possible level grunts of one of the major Sigil factions. Your characters are interested in helping people generally though it can be for your own reasons. Belonging to a major faction can bring power and access but also danger and conflict. Things will be asked of you.
